Digital Lizard was seeking to best utilize its high-quality digital printing capabilities to provide its marketing customers with completely variable booklets. After reviewing many options, including sheetfed, in-line, and digital-only systems, Digital Lizard VP of Manufacturing Patrick Meredith and his fellow management team opted to implement a Muller Martini Presto II Digital Stitcher with an MBO Roll Fed Selective Fold Sheeting Infeed.

The system can produce self- or matched-cover digital booklets; self- or matched-cover traditional static offset booklets; and a new hybrid product that features both traditional offset and digital content within the same product. Due to the product flexibility, the system configuration enables a higher ROI and creates new opportunities to support a range of production printing demands from Digital Lizard's sister offset divisions, as well as its own core digital printing business.

During this webinar you will learn:

  • How MBO roll fed finishing systems integrate with state-of-the-art stitching technology
  • How Digital Lizard expanded its capabilities to meet the marketing demands of customers
  • How Digital Lizard determined where to allocate its CaPex dollars to maximize ROI, serve new and existing clientele, and better position itself for long-term business success
